Beyond Laptops: Integrating Android and Ipad Tablets Into Your Library

Abstract

This presentation gives general information about tablet computers specifically, iPad and Nook Color. The Nook Color has been "rooted" to a functional Android tablet. Information is given on our experience integrating the tablets into the Library's information literacy course. There are tips and the iPad fit framework to follow for implementing a tablet program in libraries.
