In order to compare Klopfer's interpretation of introversion-extroversion on the Rorschach psychogram and the MMPI "si" Scale, twenty-four college students enrolled in the Personality Theories class at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado in the Fall of 1988, were administered a group written form of "si" Scale and an individual Rorschach projective test. Each subject's two scores were recorded and categorized by frequency in a Chi Square contingency table. A statistical analysis of the responses using the Chi Square Technique was made. The results of the study indicated no significance when the MMPI "si" Scale responses were compared to the same subject's responses shown in the Rorschach psychogram. It was suggested that the MMPI and Rorschach do not measure the same aspects of personality, and the Rorschach not be misused as a tool to measure introversion or extroversion.en_US
