Layoffs have become recurrent in many organizations today. Most of the research that has been conducted on this subject has focused on the victims and survivors of the layoff process, but very little is known about the impact of layoffs on third parties; people who are indirectly affected by layoffs. These include: potential employees, family members and friends. The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of locus of control and work values on vocational choice among students on the verge of completing their studies, especially vocational choice among organizations that have conducted layoffs.en_US
