The application of the Fuoss-Onsager equation for the conductance is tested for a set of literature-source studies of the conductance of the alkali-chlorides: LiCl, NaCl, KC1, and CsCl in different solvent systems of pure water, methanol, and ethanol, as well as for systems which are composed of the salts in aqueous alcohol mixtures. The best fit of the data was accomplished, and the best-fit values for the ion-size parameter, the equivalent conductance at infinite dilution, and the association constant are interpreted.en_US
